After treating the fiberglass mat with epoxy resin the matt gets transparent and almost unbreakable, the matt then works like a "canvas". Around the "canvas" is a stainless steel frame. The depth and heaviness of the frame are giving the paintings a physicality. It almost becomes an object that could stand in the room by itself. Curtain fabric as a print leaves the structure of the curtain on the fiberglass. For that layer I use oil paint. The subjects are „drawn“ with acrylic based varnish paint, by the dripping technique with a chop stick. With the dripping technique there is a measure of chance, which makes the painting unique. Its one of a kind and can not be reproduced. More information you can find in the blog and on other pages of the webpage.
Fiberglass, oil and varnish are interacting which each other in the light. So when the light changes in the room the painting interplays with the light. So you will see and discover other highlight and details. Your painting is constantly changing in the light giving you a new discovery every day.
